HR Administrator
HR, IT & General Operations - Taiko Ireland
Contract: Part Time
Salary: €14 - €16 per hour
Contracted Hours: 16-20 hours per week
Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s to name a few. Over the past 25 years Taiko has launched more first to market Sushi and Food to Go products than any other sushi manufacturer in the UK.
A successful HR Administrator understands the business objectives of their employer. They can create and implement policies that recruit, retain, and train the best staff to ensure these goals are met.
  • Working with a company’s various departments to assist management in understanding and implementing procedures and policies.
  • Ensuring that diversity and equality are core tenets of the company’s culture.
  • Being the first point of contact for all human resources related queries.
  • Active involvement in the recruitment process, including liaising with relevant stores and Head Office Departments.
  • Setting up interviews and preparing employee handbooks, contracts, policies, procedures.
  • Liaising with the payroll Dept and ensuring employee records are maintained.
  • Interpreting employment law and advising management and employees based on what you find.
  • Planning and delivering training, including the inductions of new staff.
  • Onboarding of new starters from issuing contract to collating starter documentation
  • Coordinate company induction process and ensure probationary review meetings are held and documented in timely manner.
  • Ensure all HR record-keeping and filing is maintained to meet all legislative and policy requirements
  • Maintain and ensure information on HRIS system TMS is correct and that relevant paperwork is provided for all absences
  • Assist with the preparation of data to be provided to our external payroll processing company
  • Produce HR metrics and reports when requested
  • Assist with the recruitment process, screening candidates and related correspondence
  • Process any reference requests, bank and mortgage forms etc
  • Administration of the health insurance schemes
  • Ensure all employee Job descriptions are up to date, issued and signed.
  • Ensure that each employee is appraised annually in line with the time lines agree
  • Provide relevant administrative support as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as an HR Officer, HR Administrative Assistant or similar role
  • To be successful in this role, candidate must have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR function
  • Degree qualified in Human Resources or a related discipline and / or CIPD member
  • Good verbal and written communication skill
  • Strong administrative skills, and high attention to detail
  • A ‘people’ person with a positive attitude toward pressure and volumes
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and relevant software applications
