Internal Sales Administrator

AMMEGA Belting Ireland Ltd. have a great opportunity for an individual with the ability to deliver fantastic customer service to join our busy Dublin office as a Sales Administrator. You will build strong relationships with our customers, responding to enquiries, processing customer orders and look for opportunities to up-sell.
The Sales Administrator is responsible for effectively completing sales orders received via phone and email, converting them into manufacturing orders through implementing steps required for delivery of products. You will be part of a small dynamic team.
The company sells a range of power transmission products to distributors, OEM’s and end users across industry sectors including pharmaceutical, food processing, recycling and materials handling.
Your Role:
- Take calls and enquiries from customers, you will provide quotations, process and monitor sales orders and answer general queries
- Identify product requirements and order suitable products for customers, sourcing products if required
- Based on your knowledge of customers' requirements you will be able to up-sell products and services
- Liaise with our team of technical sales engineers
- Produce reports in Excel, Salesforce and ERP system
- Process sales orders, forwarding them to the warehouse department
- Ensure consistently high levels of service and professionalism are offered to customers and suppliers at all times
- You are responsible for your own health and safety and have a duty of care for others around you within your working environment.
- Supporting our quality management system, contribute to operational efficiency by identifying potential improvements
You bring with you:
- Experience in a similar role selling technical products would be advantageous
- A minimum of 3 year’s experience in a sales administrator role with a busy office environment
- Negotiation skills at multiple levels within customer and supplier organisations
- Have sound computer skills, including sales order processing and be competent using Microsoft Office programmes;
- A good standard of education, Leaving Cert or higher, you should be highly numerate
- Be an experienced team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service skills who can get things done and prioritise their workload
- Be an excellent problem solver with the ability to think innovatively and find appropriate solutions;
- Have good written skills, with accuracy and attention to detail;
- Strong people skills and the ability to easily build rapport and business relationships with customers
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal English (a fluent speaker) and comfortable with using IT systems
