Business Development/Sales Manager

We’re seeking a driven, experienced individual to join us as our first senior full-time hire. Job Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development & Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has at least 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, media, or events, and is passionate about growing a business and building a team. As a key player in our startup, you will have the opportunity to influence strategy, drive sales growth, and help shape the future of the company. You will be working closely with the founders on business strategy and team development, ensuring a collaborative approach to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development & Sales Strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies to drive new client acquisition, increase revenue, and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Revenue Growth: Generate new business and sales.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture client relationships from the initial sale through to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and clients.
  • Team Leadership: As the company grows, take on leadership responsibilities, build and motivate a high-performing sales and marketing team, and support the development of team members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other existing teams, partners & clients.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies and innovate new offerings.
  • Client Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of campaigns and events to ensure they meet or exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding results.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Min. 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, media, or events industry.
  • A proven track record in business development and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of the marketing, media, advertising, and events industries in Ireland is a significant advantage.
  • Solid understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Experience managing and leading teams, with the ability to motivate and guide them as the company expands.
  • A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated, a strong self-starter, and capable of working independently, as well as collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • A client-focused approach, always striving to deliver exceptional results and ensure client satisfaction.
  • A driven, goal-oriented individual who takes ownership of the business’s growth and success.
  • Personable and approachable, building strong relationships both internally and externally.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
