The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Origina as our new Italian Business Development Manager (BDM). The role is the first interaction prospective customers have with Origina and will support our business growth in Italy. The team is comprised of tenacious, positive and hard-working individuals dedicated to outstanding achievement and success of themselves, the sales team and the company. Origina is looking for self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented and creative sales team member looking to further build their career in sales.
- Tenaciously prospect, qualify and capture leads and opportunities through prospecting via phone and social media
- Creatively follow up on inbound leads to further peak prospect interest
- Successfully create opportunities within your assigned region by building rapport and cultivating relationships with our aligned partner network to maximise sales opportunities
- Partner with senior sales executives in your assigned region in pursuit of driving revenue for the organisation
- Drive attendance to and attend events, tradeshows in joint-partnership with our Channel partners and senior sales executives
- Create steady flow of outbound communications to drive engagement and create joint sales campaigns with our partner network
- Collaborate with our Territory Manager and our channel team to work with Channel Partners and develop joint sales strategies, account mapping and market insights
- Co-ordinate with and provide feedback to the Territory Manager and channel team members on lead generation successes and suggested improvements
- Demonstrate consultative sales approach by creating value-based partnerships
- Build rapport with prospective customers, partners (internal and external) and move the sales process forward
- Work diligently with team members to share feedback and best practices
- Consistently achieve designated quota
About you
- Passport and ability to travel occasionally
- Native Italian speaker or proficient in Italian language
- Excellent written & verbal English language skills
- 1+ years of professional background, preferably in business development, lead generation, outbound calling or equivalent
- Familiarity with working alongside Channel Partners
- Skilled in conducting research, leveraging social media to qualify leads, driving opportunity and revenue
- Enjoyment working in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated and driven for outstanding results with focus on quality and the customer
- Devotion to sales development, achievement and driving sales career forward rapidly
- Knowledge of general technology terms & trends would be an advantage
- Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing, collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, and organisational skills
- Solid technical aptitude & business acumen
- Curious, positive and ambitious attitude
- Familiarity with a CRM or content management tracking system
- Ability to work in a way that aligns with our values of Trust, Fairness, Relationships, and Opportunity
