ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of a multinational client, is looking for a promising individual for the position of HR Specialist – German Speaking to join its team. This role is based in Thessaloniki .
HR Specialist – German Speaking (5750 /HRS/ESS/GR)
The HR Specialist – German Speaking is responsible for supporting HR administrative processes across the organization with focus on employee relations, payroll support, onboarding and compliance, to ensure a smooth and efficient HR operation in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage employment relations (hiring, resignations, contract terminations, changes, onboarding, offboarding) ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience
Maintain employee records, update internal databases
Monitor employee attendance/leave
Address inquiries and resolving issues related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Process relevant documentation, filing
Collaborate effectively with other departments, providing day to day operations support and payroll-related support as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the HR team, proposing new ideas and solutions to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or another field
Advanced level in German and fluency in English.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a corporate administrative rolew, preferably in a multinational or a German-speaking corporate environment.
Familiarity with HR policies and processes is a competitive advantage
Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
Proactive approach to resolving issues, with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment.
Ability to handle sensitive information accurately and confidentially with focus on detail
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
