What's your role?
In this role, you will be at the heart of our sales operations, ensuring that all the resources and structures are in place for smooth and efficient workflows that ultimately enhance the customer experience.
As the Head of Sales Operations and Development, you'll lead a diverse team dedicated to supporting sales through a range of specialized functions. Your team includes sub-teams focused on essential areas like operational sales contract coordination and order management, bid management, and sales process and tools development. Your leadership will enable each team to thrive in their roles, driving operational efficiency and contributing directly to our overall sales success.
- Lead and manage the organization’s sales operations, ensuring efficient processes and smooth day-to-day functions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align resources and support cross-functional goals.
- Design and implement training programs to develop sales skills and competencies, supporting team growth and success.
- As a member of the unit's leadership team, drive strategic initiatives and lead efforts to enhance overall sales performance.
- Oversee the rollout of new operational models, gathering feedback and adjusting plans as needed for maximum impact.
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation in sales operations.
What will you bring?
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to organize and manage back-end sales functions efficiently, supporting seamless sales operations and customer satisfaction.
Sales Process & Tools Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales processes and experience with modern sales tools, such as Salesforce and ERP systems, with a vision for enhancing these tools to improve outcomes.
Collaborative Skills: Exceptional ability to work across organizational boundaries, building effective partnerships and aligning cross-functional teams with sales objectives.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data, develop actionable insights, and strategically align sales operations with broader business goals.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Experience in building, inspiring, and developing high-performing teams; strong communicator with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
