We are looking for two Wafer Fab Operators to join our Sensor factory at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland, for evening shifts.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Anodic Bonding

• Operates anodic bonding equipment.
• Inspects bond quality and documents results.

Chip Visual Inspection

• Examines chips using microscopes or automated tools.
• Identifies and reports defects (scratches, cracks, contaminants).

Wafer Polishing ad Lapping

• Polishes wafers to achieve a smooth and even surface.
• Thins and flattens wafers using lapping techniques.
• Adjusts machine settings and verifies results.
• Monitors the process and measures thickness.
• Performs maintenance on polishing equipment.

The two selected individuals will share responsibilities, each focusing on slightly different tasks within the wafer fabrication process.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Technical or vocational education e.g. electrician training
• Familiarity with semiconductor processes and equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong teamwork and interaction skills
• Ability to communicate in Finnish and understand English or vice versa, communicate in English and understand Finnish.
