We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain applications in accordance with specifications and technical best practices;
- Perform requirements analysis;
- Create process and data models, draw up technical specifications and build prototypes;
- Investigate technical solutions which meet a list of requirements and standards;
- Assist the project manager in making proposals for the definition of tasks, estimates and deliverables;
- Develop unit and integration test suites, plans and programs;
- Define and integrate technological components or applications;
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of the system;
- Take part in application support by investigating issues (3rd level support etc.).
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 8 years’ of experience in application development;
- Minimum 8 years’ of experience with UML or case tools;
- Minimum 8 years’ of experience with relational databases;
- Minimum 8 years’ of experience with IT development: server and client-based libraries and technologies relating to Java, Java Script, Oracle DB, scripting languages, servlet containers etc.;
- Excellent experience with Springboot and Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility;
- Knowledge of REST and working with APIs, developing APIs, etc.;
- Knowledge of issue-tracking and ticketing tools;
- Knowledge of application integration;
- Knowledge of database management systems;
- Experience with Agile, Scrum or Dev Ops would be considered as a plus;
- Excellent command of the English language.
