Java and React developer (DU+ FR or ENG)

Position: Java and React developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Hybrid: 2 days on site + 3 days remote
Languages Required: Dutch (at least C2) + English or French (c1 level)

Must Have Skills

At least 5 years of experience as fullstack developer, working with Java and React

Java & Spring Boot: Strong backend development skills with Java and Spring Boot.
React: Proficiency in frontend development using React.
Thymeleaf: Experience with server-side templating using Thymeleaf.
Docker: Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
Postgre SQL: Experience with relational databases, particularly Postgre SQL.
Git: Proficient in version control using Git.
Maven: Familiarity with dependency management and build automation using Maven

Preferable Skills

Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices.
Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.
Experience with Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of testing tools such as JUnit for backend or Jest for frontend.
Frontend Design Skills: Experience with CSS frameworks and UI design.
Additional Database Knowledge: Experience with other databases beyond Postgre SQL, like My SQL or Mongo DB.
Familiarity with Kubernetes: Basic knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes.
