Overview

Full-Stack Java/Angular Developer with 5+ years in professional Java development, multi-system integration, and complex environments. Skilled in Spring Framework, SOAP, REST, microservices, TDD, frontend (Angular), backend, and CI/CD.

Job Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of business applications
Development of application components and web services
Contribute in the design of architecture components and building blocks (in close collaboration with technical lead or senior software architects)
Participation in technical working groups, Scrum meetings and meetings with the users if needed
Assistance with testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting (JUnit, JIRA)

Must Have Skills

At least 5 years of full-time professional Java development experience (Full-Stack preferred)
Familiarity with multi-system integration and complex environments
Technical knowledge and practical experience with the following technologies: Java, Spring Framework, JPA (with Hibernate as implementation), security patterns (Spring Security), SOAP and RESTful web services, Spring Batch, SOA, microservices, and CQRS
Skilled in Test Driven Development with tools such as JUnit, Spring, CI, Mockito, Cypress, and Selenium
Experienced in frontend development (HTML, CSS, Java Script, Angular) and backend development
Experience with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Openshift, SVN or GIT and Eclipse or Intelli J, Sonar, JBoss, Tomcat
Experience with relational database and O/R mapping: Postgre SQL, SQL Server
Able to read and understand BPMN, UML, and documentation practices
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Familiar with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies, test-driven development and continuous integration
Ability to integrate easily into an existing team and to supervise juniors
Good knowledge of French or Dutch, including understanding, speaking, writing technical documentation, and reading
Active knowledge of English (written and team communication).

Nice to have

Knowledge in the following technologies: Talend, ZK, Oracle, Kafka, Camunda
Problem solver, able to quickly understand existing code
