The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) represents the State of Queensland in criminal cases. The ODPP's significant responsibility is to prosecute criminal matters in the High Court of Australia, Court of Appeal (Qld), Supreme Court, Mental Health Court, District Court, the Childrens Court of Queensland, and the Magistrates Court (in limited locations and matters).
About your opportunity:
There are two temporary flexible full-time roles available.
As the Project Officer, the incumbent will:
- Contribute to the delivery of WSJT and DNA Inquiry projects by providing support for project management activities and general administrative support.
- Monitor and measure the quality of project deliverables to ensure they are successfully transitioned into business as usual and meet the business needs of the ODPP.
- Facilitate effective working relationships to ensure seamless service delivery and to provide feedback to improve systems.
- Contribute to reporting project performance, including benefits realised and support the Project Manager in maintaining project governance.
- Demonstrate administrative and/or legal expertise and ability to apply these skills in a project environment.
- Build and sustain relationships, through the application of strong stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Monitor and prioritise workloads and ensure delivery of outputs in a timely manner.
- Understands basic governance mechanisms and demonstrates capability to plan, coordinate and document meetings, forums and workgroup outcomes.
