Team Leader High Risk Team North Queensland

- Provide oversight, guidance and expertise regarding applications for financial assistance made by High Risk DFV victims.- Undertake complex evidence-based decision making relating to the provision of assistance under VOCAA.- Undertake the role of proxy for Victim Assist at various HRT sites, as required.- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure efficient delivery of Victim Assist services.- Provide analysis and advice on complex operational process and policy issues to VOCAA and the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012.- Lead and motivate an organisational culture that values a trauma-informed approach, internal and inter-agency collaboration, innovative performance and positive contributions that staff bring to Victim Assist and clients.- Develop and implement a framework to support regional staff, driving initiatives that prioritise staff wellbeing, foster effective communication and strengthen connection across the regions. This will include travel to regional office locations, including Mackay, Rockhampton, Mount Isa, Townsville and Cairns.- Undertake Financial, Human Resource and Performance management activities including establishment management, workforce and succession planning, coaching, mentoring and staff supervision.
