About the Role: As an Enrolled Nurse at Kingston Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, you will work closely with our Registered Nurses/Midwives to deliver exceptional care that meets regulatory and statutory requirements. Your role will involve providing nursing care that is consistent with best practice standards, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and care they deserve. Your practice will evolve from novice to proficient, and you will always retain responsibility for your actions, working under the direction and supervision of our experienced team.
What We're Looking For:

• Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong ability to prioritise workload and recognise changes in clinical conditions.
• Passion for delivering person-centred care that focuses on the individual needs of each patient.
• Proven experience in providing nursing care within a healthcare setting, adhering to the appropriate standards of practice.
• Proficient in using computer software packages (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
• A solid understanding of the Enrolled Nurse’s role within the healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, standards, codes, ethics, and competency standards.
