Are you a dedicated and experienced nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Join our team at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre as a Clinical Nurse – After Hours Support, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional nursing care within CALHN rehabilitation services. This position offers the opportunity to work across diverse health service settings, leveraging your expertise to guide and support the development of less experienced staff while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.
In this dynamic role, you will provide professional consultation, supervision, and mentorship to staff and students, while also offering crucial support to the After-Hours Nurse Manager team and After-Hours Medical Officers. With a focus on accountability, you’ll ensure excellence in your practice and in tasks delegated to others, all while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that enhances the quality of care for patients.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced nursing professional who is ready to excel in a leadership and support role. You will bring a wealth of knowledge, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.
- Qualifications: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practising certificate.
- Skills and Abilities: Effective communicator and problem solver with strong leadership, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-registration experience, with proven competence in clinical practice and staff mentorship. Advanced Life Support certification required.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare standards, legislation, and contemporary nursing practices, with a focus on quality improvement.
