About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to support the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for clinical and non-clinical equipment (incl. capital projects) across Metro North Hospital and Health Service, in a client focussed and transparent manner. The role is involved in the delivery of procurement and contract management activities for Metro North covering
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Protection of Metro North reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency
• Undertake procurement activities as directed by the Principal Procurement & Contract Officer including maintaining a positive relationship with all customers and suppliers
• Liaise with legal advisers, as required, to ensure robust offer/tendering and contract development
