Responsibilities:

• Provide structural evaluations/calculations for both residential and commercial exterior applications. General knowledge of Building Science and Building Envelope details, components, and installation techniques.
• Lead internal and third-party testing and analysis of products to ensure compliance to applicable building code requirements. Knowledge of the IBC, IRC, and ASCE 7.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in the development of new and innovative products and applications for the exterior built environment including cladding/siding, railing, and decking applications.

Participation in field investigations of performance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering)
Proficiency in engineering software tools (CAD, MATLAB, etc.) and data analysis tools. Project Management Experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
Skills that are a plus but not necessary
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the industry. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). Experience with intellectual property (IP) management and patent processes. Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques (3D printing, CNC machining, etc.).
Working Conditions
Office-based work environment with occasional lab or manufacturing facility visits. May require occasional travel for conferences, client meetings, or supplier visits

Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.  The annual salary for this role in most us locations is $73,000-$96,000
