Job Description:
Behavioral Health Division is seeking administrative support specialists with experience coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis for two vacant positions.
Measure 110
Operations & Program Support Specialist is in service to transformative, community-led, and community-owned initiatives and the mission, vision, values and goals of the Oregon Health Authority and the Health Systems Division.
In this position
Contract and Program Support Specialist is in service to the Behavioral Health
(BH) Workforce Incentives team within the two main workstreams of (1) incentive programs and (2) the
House Bill 2235
.
In these positions you will: help monitor, analyz, develop, document, research and implement process, procedures, protocols, and workflow improvement opportunities/ideas; in cluding establishing and maintaining technical manuals, directives, and procedures; perform audits; prepare presentations, graphs, reports, and other materials; assist with contract management; assist with project management; update spreadsheets and tracking tools; interpret and evaluate laws, rules, policies, procedures to assure operational alignment and compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;
OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Attributes
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
  • Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record or provide an acceptable alternative method of transportation.
  • Can demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, TEAMS, Outlook skillset.
  • Organizational and time management skills commensurate with the detailed and complex development process. Use mathematics to solve business problems.
  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, and ask appropriate questions to identify issues and resolutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Experience analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.
  • Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or information facts by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Experience effectively teaching others how to do perform actions and procedures, and translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used.
  • Experience understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision making.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time, while encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Experience using computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter or compile data, or process information.
