This team will provide high end business advisory services across all Baker Hicks Business Sectors, Business Units and Geographies that will:

As a Senior Consultant – P3M Advisory, you will manage P3M maturity assessments (P3M3), provide expert advice on best practices in project, programme, and portfolio management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for clients. You will also conduct unbiased assurance and maturity reviews, ensuring client projects align with industry standards and strategic goals.
You will contribute to business development by managing bids, providing technical authoring to responses, identifying new opportunities and representing the firm at industry events.
The role involves mentoring junior consultants, building strong client relationships, and directing workshops to enhance client capabilities in P3M.

Key Objectives

• Provide expert consultancy services to clients across project, programme, and portfolio management (P3M) disciplines.
• Developing both the P3M3 and P3M Advisory playbook and for guidance on conducting maturity assessments, advising clients on industry best practices, coordinating continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering assurance reviews and assessments.
• Your expertise in methodologies such as P3M3, MSP, MOP, P3O, ITIL, Prince 2 /Agile, and others will be instrumental in guiding clients towards optimising their project, programme, and portfolio management processes, helping them achieve strategic outcomes.

Requirements
Education

• A degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Prince2 Practitioner, MSP, MOP, P3O, ITIL, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications.
• Certification in P3M3 (desirable).
• Risk Management, Change Management, or other related certifications (desirable).

Experience

• Proven experience in project, programme, and portfolio management advisory, with a focus on P3M maturity, continuous improvement, and best practice methodologies in infrastructure centric organisations.
• Strong understanding of P3M3 maturity model, Prince2, MSP, MOP, P3O, ITIL, Agile, and other relevant methodologies.
• Experience in delivering P3M advisory services and assessments to clients in various industries.
• Hands-on experience in managing continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the effective application of P3M best practices.

Skills

• Excellent reasoning skills, with the ability to conduct assessments, examine data, and provide actionable insights to clients.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and convey complex concepts clearly.
• Deep knowledge of project, programme, and portfolio governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Proven ability to guide teams, mentor junior consultants, and deliver high-quality services to clients.
