Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting all technical requirements and project deadlines.
Duties:

• Managing the engineering of the project, ensuring that all phases are carried out to meet the project schedule and budget.
• Coordinating the project team.
• Managing Customer communication.
• Leading the planned Project meetings such as Design & Constructability reviews, HAZOP, P&ID, GA, Process, Mechanical, E&I, and Control System meetings.
• Managing the implications of changes and ensuring the overall design integrity.
• Specification & procurement of equipment for incorporation into the package.
• Providing technical support & feedback to the Proposals team.
• Providing support to manufacturing.
• Participating in testing and inspections.
• Regularly reporting on key deliverables such as man-hours, bought-out items & completion dates.
• Ensuring that the design meets all required customer specifications, industry standards and codes.
• Generating project specific engineering procedures & documentation.
• Ensuring that all drawings & documents meet project requirements.
• Achieving project milestone dates to support cash flow.
• Supplier invoice approval.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering
- Proven experience in project management within an engineering environment ideally within the Energy Industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
- Proficiency in software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Lab View, GD&T, Solid Works, and CAD
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
