Salary:

• Basic salary range between £38,000 - £50,000 per year
• Overtime available at 1.5 x rate

Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 8 hour daily shift (40 hours per week)
• With flexible working chosen between the hours of 7.30am to 5:30pm
• Only 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm (paid at time and a half)
• Overtime is available if wanted but not compulsory

The role:
As a Vehicle Technician you'll be responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair.
Typical responsibilities include:

• Servicing vehicles - carrying out checks and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
• Carry out diagnosis, repair and evaluation of customer vehicles
• Diagnose complex symptoms across a range of vehicles
• Complete relevant documentation (job sheets/cards, service reports) in line with warranty and dealer requirements
• Ensure that workshop housekeeping and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Undertake additional workshop and dealer support as required

Skills and experience required:

• Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
• Ideally with 3 years experience
• Ideally capable of diagnosing a variety of faults
• Previous Light Goods Vehicle maintenance experience would be an advantage
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
