Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;
HGV 1 TANKER DRIVER

• 4 on 3 off Tramping
• Thursday - Sunday each week
• Full time permanent
• Based at our Hull depot
• Loading and unloading of liquid tanks / chocolate
• Tanker experience essential
• Full tank training given
• £15.26 (first 20-weeks employment) raising to £16.26 after.
• £1000 loyalty bonus at the end of first 12 months of employment
• £26.20 per night out

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK.
Duties will include:

• Collection & Delivery of product in tankers to and from customer locations
• Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines

Experience

• Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
• Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
• Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
