Pool Farm Vets are an enthusiastic, caring and forward-thinking small animal and equine veterinary practice based in the small village of Betley which is in Crewe, Cheshire. Crewe is a railway town with direct trains to major cities like London, Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff, and Edinburgh. It's also close to the motorway network and Manchester Airport, which provides excellent communication links by air, road, and rail. Crewe is surrounded by the Cheshire countryside and is close to rivers like the Weaver and Dane, which offer opportunities for walking, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors.

We have a supportive and compassionate team of 6 Vets, 4 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 1 VCA and a dedicated reception team. Within the team, we have certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery, Small Animal Medicine and Anaesthesia and Analgesia.

Practice facilities include a range of endoscopes enabling us to perform minimally invasive investigations including rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, coloscopy and cystoscopy, digital radiography (x-rays) and ultrasonography. We have a comprehensive in-house laboratory, allowing us to provide your pets results rapidly. We also have a courier service with an external laboratory daily which allows us to provide a broad range of diagnostic tests. We offer a range of advanced surgical procedures in our surgical theatre including laparoscopic (keyhole) surgeries, airway surgery (BOAS), dentals, mass removals, orthopaedic surgery, enucleations and exploratory surgery. We use modern anesthetic agents and have a range of anesthetic monitoring equipment.

Step into a supportive start

40 hours per week over four 10 hour days. You will be part of our Saturday rota working 1 in 4 sat mornings 08:30 - 12.00.

You will be supported by mentorship from GDP adviser, plus multiple experienced Vets within the practice will be on hand to support you when needed.

Company vehicle provided for business purposes.
