Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design and a strong ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver exceptional results that enhance the quality of living and working environments. This is a Studio Based Role that will require site visits.
Duties

• Develop and present design concepts that meet client requirements and budget constraints.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications using software such as Auto CAD, 3ds Max, Revit, and Sketchup.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional needs for each project.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion within set deadlines.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Select appropriate materials, furnishings, fixtures, and colour schemes that align with the overall design concept.
• Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite to effectively communicate design ideas to clients.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to coordinate project execution and resolve any issues that may arise during the build phase.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design or a related field is essential. Must have at least 3 years experience
• Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of colour theory, spatial arrangements, and design principles.
• A relevant degree or qualification in Interior Design or Architecture is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with significant experience in the field.
