Remote Working: this position offers flexibility in location, with remote working possible. However, the successful candidate will need to travel periodically to Brussels, the UK and elsewhere. All travel expenses will be covered

Position Overview
Forum Europe is seeking a Director of Sales and Growth to spearhead and expand our sponsorship and partnership efforts across our portfolio of high-profile events and initiatives in Europe and around the world. This role is key to driving revenue growth, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring the organization meets its ambitious expansion goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, business development, event sponsorship and fostering client relationships, ideally within the EU policy, technology, or events arena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Design and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on securing sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
- Business Development: Identify, target, and build relationships with new and existing clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, industry bodies, and associations, maintaining and nurturing key partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with events, marketing, and content teams to align sponsorship and partnership offerings with event themes and target audiences.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and European policy developments to identify emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Sales Operations: Manage the sales pipeline, prepare forecasts, and deliver detailed reporting to senior management.
- Networking and Representation: Represent Forum Europe at external meetings, industry events, and networking forums to enhance visibility and forge strategic connections.
Experience:
- A proven track record in a senior sales or business development role, ideally in the EU policy, technology, or events sectors.
- Previous experience in B2B, policy-focused, or conference sponsorship sales is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and leverage revenue-generating opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with experience managing complex sales cycles and key account management.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with the EU policy landscape, including regulatory frameworks and digital transformation priorities, is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of sponsorship sales, partnership management, and business development within the events industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a significant advantage.
- Starting salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (based on experience)
- Performance-Based Commission: Uncapped earning potential linked to sales and revenue targets
