As a Dairy Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our dairy products are kept to the highest of standards therefore if you have a passion for food production we encourage you to apply.
Based in various departments, your duties will include:

• Pasteurising cheese
• VAT Cheese Making
• Open Table Cheese Making
• Block Former Operations
• Cheese Palletising
• Milk Intake, Sample Testing, Scales
• Operate and maintain dairy processing equipment
• Monitor and control the production process to ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Perform routine quality checks on dairy products
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets

BACK/LATE SHIFT - £14.41 per hour - We operate 4pm - 2am on a 10 hour shift, 5 over 7 nights with 2 nights off together. The shift rate encompasses an hourly rate of £11.44 plus a 26% shift premium.
THIS IS THE BASE RATE, ONCE YOU BECOME MULTISKILLED THE RATE WILL INCREASE, GREAT EARNING POTENTIAL!

Experience required:
- Food Safety and Chemical awareness knowledge would also be advantageous but full training will be given.
- Experience in food production or related field is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed
