Logistics – Warehouse Operative

Shift Pattern:
Night Shift - 6PM to 6AM OR 7PM to 7AM
OR
Day Shift- 6AM to 6PM or 10AM to 10PM

We are looking to recruit additional Logistics Team Members for both our Goods-In and Despatch teams.
We work on 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern.
What could you be doing?

• You will be unloading our raw materials and packaging from our suppliers. Once these have been checked by our quality team you would store them in the appropriate area.
• You will then pick and retrieve these items and deliver them as required to the production team in the factory.
• You will need to be able to use our systems to keep our inventory correct, and you will be trained in the use of a variety of powered manual handling equipment.
• You will have experience of working in warehousing and will be comfortable using systems.
• You will be trained in the use of our powered mechanical handling equipment and if you are RTITB trained in forklift use then you will start on a higher pay rate. We use counterbalance and reach trucks across our warehouses.
• You will be working in a chilled or freezer environment so you will need to be comfortable working in these temperatures, and we will provide you with all the appropriate clothing.
• You will be trained on and able to use scan guns to aid loading and offloading inventory to maintain an accurate log of stock.

Essential Requirements:

• There is a key element of manual handling and health and safety within the job, therefore an understanding and implementation of both is essential.
• Experience within a warehouse setting
• Experience with Forklift/Reach truck is desirable but not essential
