Il Trillo, Chelsea’s much-loved fine dining Italian restaurant, specialising in Tuscan and Ligurian cuisine, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join it’s professional and friendly team on a full-time basis. The role offers training and development opportunities, with great benefits and a salary of £35,000 + £1,000 loyalty bonus per year (depending on experience).
As Chef de Partie you will support the Head Chef and the Senior Sous Chef in transforming high quality ingredients into our beloved signature dishes, ensuring that your section and your line of dishes are ready for service, with responsibility for finishing and decorating plates to our high standards.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and passionate chef, who understands the importance of maintaining and championing hygiene and cleaning standards in the kitchen.
The role will cover five days a week. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, open for dinner Tuesdays to Sundays, with a lunch service only on Saturdays and Sundays. Two days-off per week will be allocated for this role - one will be on a Monday (as the restaurant is closed), the other will be allocated for a Tuesday or Wednesday. An example of a typical working week for this role will look as followed:
- Mondays: OFF
- Tuesdays: OFF
- Wednesdays: 3pm to 11pm (30 minuet break)
- Thursdays: 3pm to 11pm (30 minuet break)
- Fridays: 3pm to 11pm (30 minute break)
- Saturdays: 11am to 11pm (one hour break)
- Sundays: 11am to 11pm (one hour break)

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE...

• A minimum of one year’s previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
• Knowledge of fresh food cooking and the ability to cook to specs
• The ability to deliver high standards and work under pressure
• A passion for food, beverage and the Italian cuisine
• Great communication and organising skills
• The ability to work closely with the management team and be a team player
• Outstanding standards of personal presentation, hygiene and grooming
• Be passionate and enthusiastic about their job
• The willing to work five days a week, average 48 hours
• The willing to work evening shifts
• Have the right to work in the UK
• A basic command of spoken English

• 30 years’ experience in the hospitality business, permanent contract with base salary + performance bonus and training on the job.
