Bridgford Interiors is a specialist interior fit out business based in Fradley Park. Our work involves the fit out of property in the retail, hospitality & leisure sectors across the UK.
At any one time we have multiple live sites at various stages. Projects run for different durations, including night works and weekends.
The roles and responsibilities include the following

• Convert internal requisitions into request for quotations and procure competitively from our external supply chain for multiple live fast track fit out projects
• Co-ordinate logistics using direct transport & subcontractors
• Authorise invoices and manage queries efficiently
• Manage plant losses and damages
• Build solid relationships both internally & externally with our supply chains

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of construction materials & plant is desirable
• Experience of Microsoft Packages.

Summary
In the role of Assistant Construction Buyer, you will be integral to the procurement process, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials. With strong organisational and communication skills, you will collaborate with various teams to optimise logistics and supply chain operations. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and JD Edwards will enhance your effectiveness in this role, while your understanding of merchandising will support our project's success.
