Ciklum is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Middle Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
This position offers an opportunity to work on complex digital transformation project requiring comprehensive testing expertise across multiple environments and stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical skills to understand, challenge, and verify requirements while ensuring comprehensive test coverage and quality standards.
Responsibilities

• Analyze and challenge requirements to ensure testability and completeness
• Design and create comprehensive test cases using proven test design techniques
• Execute manual test cases across multiple testing phases (smoke, sanity, regression, exploratory)
• Perform thorough story verification and acceptance criteria validation
• Create detailed, reproducible bug reports and conduct bug verification
• Perform end-to-end testing of web applications with focus on functional validation and user journeys
• Conduct non-functional testing including localization, compatibility, and accessibility testing
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation in Azure Dev Ops
• Participate in UAT support and defect verification
• Validate compliance with design system standards and accessibility guidelines

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with focus on manual testing
• Strong expertise in test design techniques and test case creation methodologies
• Proven experience in requirement analysis and the ability to challenge requirements effectively
• Strong bug reporting skills with attention to detail and reproduction steps
• Strong English language skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with end-to-end testing of complex web applications
• Proven track record of working with distributed teams
• Strong understanding of test metrics and quality gates
• Experience with role-based access testing and complex user workflows
• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing approaches

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Stack: Proficiency with Microsoft Dev Ops ecosystem including Azure Dev Ops, Excel, etc
• Design Tools: Experience with Figma for UI verification and design validation
• Testing Tools: Proficiency with Postman for API testing, browser developer tools
• Environments: Experience working across multiple test environments (Dev, QA, Staging)
• Documentation: Expertise in test case design and test suite management

Desirable

• Arabic language skills for localization testing
• Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG)
• Experience with performance and security testing concepts
• Understanding of data migration testing approaches
