Finance Controller position reports to Chief Finance Controller and supports finance controlling environment in two inland silos Khmilnyk and Kamianka, Ukraine.

The key goals are:

• Oversee all aspects of controlling / accounting activities for both silo locations, corporate reporting of monthly results, management reporting, CAPEX projects planning and tracking.
• Ensure proper level of SOX financial and operational controls.
• Partnering with silo management and ADM Ukraine management

Responsibilities:

• Oversight statutory (month end closing activities) close process, including understanding of operating results and cost drivers.
• Prepare corporate financial reporting.
• Prepare internal management reporting.
• Perform after-close activities, including balance sheet reconciliation package.
• Support accounting teams in both locations.
• Review/ approve contracts.
• Plan/ control over silos cash liquidity, approve payments in banking systems.
• Perform financial / system related control testing to ensure strong internal control environment and compliance with US-GAAP, SOX and ADM policies
• Perform regular silo site operational controls
• Participate in regular grains stock takings
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to the silo management / ADM Ukraine management in terms of silo activities planning, cost analysis, capital projects, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Economics
• At least 3 years’ experience in accounting or controlling areas, ideally in multinationals and / or agricultural business.
• Experience in month – end closing activity would be an advantage.
• Mobility to business travels within Ukraine between Khmilnyk and Kamianka.
• Communicate level of English (spoken and written; B1+).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Highly motivated, proactive, self-disciplined and team-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
