At Span Group, a rapidly expanding IT company based in Croatia with over 850 talented employees, we are seeking a Financial Manager to join our Ukrainian office. In this key position, you will ensure that our organization maintains precise and compliant financial records, policies, and practices. You will manage and grow your team, fostering a supportive environment that encourages professional development and collaboration to achieve collective success. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with various department leaders to optimize financial operations and align with the company’s overarching strategic objectives.

- Supervise external accounting and collaborate with managers from other departments within the organization.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of group reporting to the parent company.
- Manage cash flow, including daily cash outflow approvals and minimizing FX differences.
- Communicate with banks.
- Participate in yearly audits and budgeting processes.
- Engage in strategic and daily risk management.
- Stay up to date with Ukrainian accounting and tax regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (like CPA or ACCA, etc.) is a plus.

At least 3-5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, ideally in the IT or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with banks and financial institutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Solid leadership abilities, with a track record of teamwork and project management.
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian is a must; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.
