Creating finance solutions for a better living

You will be part of the Agile Portfolio Management (APM) Chapter, a team composed of Release Train Engineers, Program Managers and fellow Project Managers. Together, you will support the wider Digital Delivery team, ensuring projects align with Ikano Bank's strategy and priorities. The team provides servant leadership from a delivery perspective, adhering to the Ikano Way of Working (Wo W).
As a Project Manager, your role is to ensure the success of the projects you manage, primarily by overseeing timelines, resources, and project scope, while also addressing and removing obstacles that may hinder the project’s progress. Your focus will be on the execution and delivery of projects rather than managing a portfolio of multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage specific projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve defined goals.
• Identify and engage key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with organisational goals.
• Maintain and manage resources, timelines, and budgets to meet project objectives.
• Identify impediments early and actively work to resolve them, ensuring that mitigation remains a top priority, escalating issues if necessary.
• Track project progress and manage risks associated with delivery.
• Monitor project dependencies and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide proactive updates on project milestones, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
• Facilitate efficient and effective meetings and ceremonies, ensuring they support project progress.
• Promote a culture of accountability and collaborative decision-making within the project team.

• Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
• Experience in driving IT-related projects is preferred.
• Experience in the banking and finance sector is preferred.
