Our client is a leading provider of aviation solutions, offering innovative products and services to meet the evolving needs of the aviation industry. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth within the aviation services sector.
Role Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence. You will work closely with senior management to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded while managing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities to drive market expansion.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing coaching.
- Quotations & Proposals: Oversee the preparation of accurate and competitive quotations and proposals to secure new business.
- Marketing & Brand Awareness: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all promotional materials, websites, and digital content are current and aligned with company objectives.
- Market Presence: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster new partnerships.
- Budget Management: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
Essential:
- Proven success in a senior sales management role, preferably in aviation or related industries.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop client-focused solutions and translate market needs into technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of sales processes, CRM tools, and market penetration strategies.
- Driver’s license and own vehicle.
- South African citizenship or permanent residency with a valid passport.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Technical sales or project experience in aviation or similar sectors.
- Experience in market penetration and business development.
- Knowledge of HR processes and team management.
