Senior Accountant

- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Develop and manage the annual budget in coordination with other departments.
- Monitor and report variances against the budget, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage payroll processing in compliance with local labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar's tax regulations, including VAT reporting and filings.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits and tax returns.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend automation tools or new practices.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Accounting: 6 years (Preferred)
