Photographer - Experience in Qatar or GCC

Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing Images:
- Take photos for events, portraits, advertising campaigns, fashion, real estate, nature, products, etc.
- Choose the appropriate camera, lighting, and background to create the desired effect.
- Editing and post-production:
- Edit photos using software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
- Retouch images, adjust color balance, and remove imperfections to enhance the final product.
- Planning and preparation:
- Discuss project requirements with clients or other stakeholders to understand their vision.
- Scout locations, set up lighting, and prepare equipment for shoots.
- Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, offer professional advice, and discuss potential concepts or styles.
- Ensure satisfaction by providing proof, collecting feedback, and making necessary adjustments.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain and care for photographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, and lighting gear.
- Keep backup equipment ready for shoots in case of malfunctions.
- Marketing and networking:
- Build a portfolio of work to showcase to potential clients.
- Market services through social media, photography websites, or networking within industry.
- Printing and Production:
- In some roles, photographers may also handle the printing of photos or work closely with printing professionals to ensure the best output quality.
- Staying Current:
- Keep up-to-date with photography trends, techniques, and new equipment to stay competitive in the field.
- Technical skills: proficiency in using cameras, lighting, and editing software.
- Artistic Vision: Strong eye for composition, color, and visual storytelling.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot small details that can make or break an image.
- Communication Skills: Effective in interacting with clients to understand their vision and provide guidance.
- Organization: Manage time efficiently, especially for deadlines, and handle multiple assignments.
- Education/Experience: Many photographers have a degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field, but extensive experience and a strong portfolio can often substitute formal education.
- Event Photographer: covers weddings, parties, corporate events, and other gatherings.
- Commercial Photographer: Works with businesses to create images for advertisements, products, or branding.
- Photojournalist: Takes photos for news outlets to accompany stories, capturing events as they unfold.
- Product Photographer: Specializes in photography for catalogs, online stores, and advertisements.
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
