Job Description: Factory Supervisor (Fiberglass Craftsmanship)
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Fiberglass Technician at a supervisory level with a strong background in automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, extensive knowledge of fiberglass materials, and the ability to lead a team in production, repair, and maintenance tasks related to automotive components.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Leadership:
o Lead and supervised a team of fiberglass technicians.
o Oversee the daily operations of the fiberglass department, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
o Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
2. Fiberglass Production & Repair:
o Manufacture and repair automotive components using fiberglass techniques.
o Prepare molds, apply fiberglass layers, and ensure precise application to meet project specifications.
o Repair or replace damaged fiberglass parts efficiently and accurately.
3. Quality Assurance:
o Inspect and ensure the quality of all fiberglass work meets industry standards and company specifications.
o Maintain quality control by performing regular checks on processes and finished products.
4. Project Management:
o Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet project deadlines.
o Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion.
o Manage inventory and ensure materials are stocked and ready for production.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience:
o Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in fiberglass work, particularly in the automotive industry.
o Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is required.
2. Technical Knowledge:
o In-depth knowledge of fiberglass materials, applications, and techniques.
o Familiarity with automotive fiberglass manufacturing, repair, and finishing processes.
o Proficiency in mold preparation, gel coating, cutting, and laminating fiberglass.
3. Leadership Skills:
o Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
o Strong organizational and communication skills to manage projects and coordinate with other departments.
4. Problem Solving:
o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fiberglass production and repair.
o Adaptability in handling complex projects and providing innovative solutions.
5. Attention to Detail:
o Meticulous in ensuring the accuracy and quality of fiberglass components and repairs.
o Strong focus on detail-oriented work and precision.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of modern techniques and innovations in fiberglass applications, especially in the automotive industry.
• Fluency in multiple languages (preferred but not required).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to fiberglass and hazardous materials.

Salary & Contract Terms:

• Salary is competitive and based on experience.
• We are open to both 6-month or 1-year agreements depending on the candidate’s preference and qualifications.
