Junior Operational Buyer

To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Junior Buyer for our Global Supply Chain Team. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our new GBS center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization.

Your Day to Day:

Assists department with Purchase Order issuance as well as with following up on open orders to ensure that deliveries are timely
Maintain OTD updates in SAP
Maintain Order Confirmation from suppliers, check data correctness and consistency
Assists department with ASL evaluation and re-evaluation
Continuously monitor and maintain requests for vendors updates in SAP (review the requests, follow the procedure, collect the requires documents and submit Service Now ticket)
In partnership with Buyers/Senior Buyers issue RFQs for simple requests (PRs), obtain price quotations
Provide support with resolving open invoices as required by Account Payable and Supply Chain
Provide support the Supply Chain Operations team on business and improvement initiatives to deliver value-added benefits
Establish and manage the relationship with business stakeholders
Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and other related documentation as directed;
Assist department in administrative activities (preparing org charts, reports, data analysis)

Who You Are:
BA in Supply Chain, Business or similar
Track record: minimum 1 year of experience in corporate environment, ideally in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or highly technical areas)

Fluency (written and spoken) in English. One of the following additional languages will be an asset (French, German, Swedish, Spanish). Language ability is critical when interfacing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of Procurement/ Supply Chain Management processes and function will be an asset
Very good communication and collaboration skills, teamwork, solution orientation
Strong analytical skills with an eye for details
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and proactively identify and solve issues
Customer focus with proactive attitude
Negotiation skills will be an asset
Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Prime and Service Now will be an asset
