Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Phone triage
- Perform basic clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Assist in patient intake, including measuring vital signs and recording medical history
- Assist with medical procedures as needed
- Surgery scheduling & prior-authorizations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Strong patient service orientation
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to administer medications accurately
- Experience in medical administrative support
- Ability to lift, bend, and twist to move supplies and help patients
- Competency in taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
