Job Summary: The Quality Assurance (QA) Officer is responsible for ensuring that all HVAC, plumbing, and welding work on containers meets established quality and safety standards. This role involves planning, inspecting, and verifying compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines to maintain the integrity and performance of the container systems.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and welding systems to ensure they meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
· Verify the proper installation, alignment, and functionality of HVAC components, piping, and welded joints.
· Develop and maintain quality control checklists and inspection procedures specific to HVAC, plumbing, and welding work.
· Monitor materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to industry codes such as ASME, AWS, or other relevant standards.
· Maintain detailed records of inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions.
· Prepare and submit reports summarizing quality findings and recommendations.
· Oversee pressure testing, leak testing, and functional testing of HVAC and plumbing systems.
· Train staff and contractors on quality standards, safety protocols, and inspection techniques.
· Stay updated on industry advancements, certifications, and standards.
Skills:
· Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
· Proficiency in using inspection tools and testing equipment.
Qualification
· Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles for HVAC, plumbing, and welding systems.
· Familiarity with containerized system installations preferred.
