Job Description
Hexahub is seeking an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Tester for our international client’s ecommerce products. This is a remote contract position requiring 7+ years of experience in manual and automated testing. The focus areas include system testing (RESTful services, APIs, SSO), Black Box testing, and creating automated test scripts using tools like Selenium. The position reports directly to the Director of Development and is situated in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Working Hours: 2 pm - 10 pm Pakistan Time
• Daily Scrum: Must attend daily scrum calls from 9-9:30 am North American Eastern Time
• Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing using Selenium
• System/Sub-system Testing: Conduct testing on RESTful services, APIs, and SSO
• Documentation: Create test documentation (traceability matrix, test cases, test plans)
• Bug Tracking & Test Management: Use JIRA
• Process Improvement: Contribute to testing process enhancements and automation initiatives
• Project Delivery: Ensure timely, budget-conscious project completion meeting client expectations

Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Skills/Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7+ years in software testing, with a focus on test plan development, metrics/reporting, product coverage, and process improvement
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Selenium and automated testing
• Manual Testing Expertise: Skilled in manual, regression, and functional testing
• Independence: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Good-to-Have Skills/Qualifications

• e Commerce Testing: Experience in testing e Commerce products
