Senior Patient Coordinator

Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business Administration.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in patient coordination or a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job responsibilities of Senior Patient Coordinator:
  • Will be responsible for all aspects of patient coordination, including registrations and registration related inquiries.
  • Inform patients of pre-requisites of treatment and treatment date and site once confirmed by doctor.
  • Ensuring patient compliance to all current PCHF protocols.
  • Smooth and relevant communication with concerned doctors on PCHF panel.
  • Scheduling patients for assessment by consultant surgeon or cardiologist for medical clearance.
  • Patient follow up from admission till discharge from the hospital, be available for all patient enquiries concerning patient registration and admission.
  • Ensure all patient coordination data entries in PCRP are done proper and efficiently. Maintain an up to date daily treatment database file.
  • Will have readily available any patient information required by other departments or any patient referees.
  • Maintaining weekly and monthly patient registration reports
  • Interdepartmental coordination with OPD coordinator and Financial eval. Coordinator to ensure smooth processing of patient from registration till treatment.
  • Ensure that junior patient coordinator is delegated tasks appropriately and review their output periodically.
  • Coordinate with third party donors to ensure that all patient pre-requisites as specified by PCHF are up to date.
