As our Solution Designer, You Will:

Focus on equipment solutions for vessels, playing a key role in technical development and sales support.

Provide insight into specific product applications and their operational requirements.

Apply and develop engineering methods, promoting digital engineering through innovative tools and processes.

Maintain and develop our solution design portfolio for selected vessel types or segments.

Capture requirements and refine them into manageable design philosophies.

Collaborate with our technology areas and engineers, working with specialists in integration and systems engineering.

Qualifications and Experience:

Technical education at BSc or MSc level. A combination of technical and non-technical subjects may be beneficial.

Interest in sustainable maritime energy systems, hybridization, and digital solutions is an advantage.

Knowledge of ship and vessel design legislation and insight into maritime operations.

Familiarity with relevant IT tools, such as CAD and Microsoft 365 productivity tools.

Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through the Civil Aviation Authority, or a background check.

KM-site in Norway; Ålesund / Trondheim / Bergen/Hjørungavåg or other locations in Norway upon agreement.
