The Purchasing & Logistics team at Stokke plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient inventory planning across our global warehouses in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The team is responsible for managing the flow of goods between various warehouses, coordinating deliveries from factories, and handling direct deliveries from suppliers to customers. Working in close collaboration with our global supply chain, logistics, and purchasing teams, they aim to achieve key targets in availability, inventory levels, and delivery timelines. Additionally, they provide critical support to production planning and ongoing development projects, ensuring our operations run seamlessly.
We are looking for a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist who will take on the responsibility of managing and optimizing inventory planning across our global operations. This role will require effective coordination between warehouses, suppliers, and customers, along with close collaboration with the broader purchasing, supply chain, and logistics teams. You will be expected to contribute significantly to production planning and key development initiatives.
We are seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, global environment to support the continued growth and success of Stokke.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and/or demand planning software is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
