This role is integral to project management and involves mentoring and training junior team members.

- Lead and actively participate in the installation of solar panels, batteries, and inverters, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Possess the expertise to diagnose and repair various types of inverters, addressing malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Take a lead role in managing solar projects, including planning, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely project completion.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior members of the installation team, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and overall performance.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve complex technical issues during installations and maintenance activities.
- Conduct rigorous quality checks on installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, equipment specifications, and inverter repair activities.
- Engage with clients during the installation and maintenance phases, addressing queries, and providing comprehensive explanations about the solar systems.
- Uphold strict safety protocols to create a secure working environment for the team and clients.
- Substantial experience in solar panel installation and a proven track record in repairing various types of inverters
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and solar systems, such as wiring, circuits, inverters, batteries, and meters.
- Proven experience in managing solar projects from initiation to completion, including resource allocation and timeline adherence.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour, including lifting and manoeuvring heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and advanced circuit construction.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Minimum of National Diploma in a relevant field, with a focus on electrical engineering or renewable energy.
