Job Title: PROJECT / PIPING DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate MUST be a BSc holder of Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Piping Design Engineer preferably in the Oil & Gas industry

• Development of Plot Plans.

• Development of Equipments Layouts

• Development of Piping General Arrangement.

• Preparation of Piping & Valve take offs

• Development of piping specialty items list, data sheets/specifications

• Preparation of material requisitions for piping bulks, valves, specialty items, bellows, spring supports etc.

• Development of piping design specifications

• Site Surveys & Tie-in designing

• Support Design & development

• Vendor Data Review

• Preparation of Stress Analysis Specifications.

• Proficiency of CAESAR II for Stress Analysis.

• Stress Analysis Reports.

• Review of Quotes and Technical Bid Evaluation.

• Development of Equipment and Piping 3D model using PDMS, PDS and Auto Plant

• Area Demarcation and Extraction of Layout Drawings.

• Extraction of Fabrication Isometrics from 3D Model.

• Extraction of Piping Bill of Materials from 3D Model.

• Material interface with clients

• 2D Drafting using Auto CAD and Micro Station CAD Engines.

• Must possess relevant certifications
