Job Position: HR / Admin Manager
Job Location: Ajao Estate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for both the travel agency and the training institute, including cabin crew trainers, travel consultants, and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates for seasonal and permanent roles.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and implementing initiatives to improve employee morale and engagement.
- Manage conflict resolution and maintain open communication between employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with all employment regulations and laws regarding compensation and policies.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
- Assist with the overall day-to-day management of both the travel agency and the training institute, ensuring seamless operations.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve business processes and human resource management.
- Oversee human resource planning, ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained for both
- the travel agency and training institute operations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for new hires and current employees, focusing on skills required for customer service, sales, cabin crew operations, and other related fields.
- Work closely with the training institute to coordinate professional development programs for aspiring cabin crew members.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and leave programs.
- Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets, ensuring financial efficiency in both HR and business operations.
- Work closely with the finance team to track expenses related to staffing, training, and other operational costs.
- Ensure that the travel agency’s staff maintains high standards of customer service and is properly trained to handle customer queries, bookings, and complaints effectively.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for business growth, particularly in the context of new market opportunities and training innovations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 1 yearina travel agency, hospitality, or aviation training environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, local labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple functions and priorities, with a focus on operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex situations with a calm and strategic approach.
- Experience in resource planning, budgeting, and financial management is highly desirable.
N250,000 / month.
