We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Financial Controller
Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Provide overall guidance, leadership and direction in the execution of financial activities within the company.
- Oversee the development of yearly budgets/forecasts and provide prompt and accurate performance reporting to the management.•
- Anticipate and control financial risks by ensuring the availability of accurate financial data in line with business objectives.
- Provide management with timely, complete, and accurate financial information for business decision-making.
- Support management in the implementation of effective controls and ensure compliance with all statutory and technical accounting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related fields
- Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 4 years in finance leadership roles
- Relevant professional certifications and memberships (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA)
- Integrity and excellent stakeholder management
- Strong business partnering and job ownership skills
- Assertiveness and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Expertise in digital finance (data & analytics)
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics
- Proficiency in financial reporting, treasury, FP&A, and tax.
