As we continue this growth journey, we have an exciting opportunity for a Government Identity - Operations Lead to join our Mobility team.

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

The Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of all Government Identity contracted services. You’ll manage service operations, coordinate with internal teams, oversee agent relocations, conduct audits, and provide regular performance reports. The role also involves managing mobile operators, supporting process improvements, and maintaining product knowledge.

Additionally, the Operations Lead liaises with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs, provides leadership within the team, and fosters a collaborative culture. The role includes managing team performance, supporting professional development, and ensuring the timely completion of operational tasks.

About You | Mōu

You’ll hold proven experience in operations management, process improvement, and on-the-job training, ideally gained in a comparable environment. You’ll possess strong commercial understanding and business acumen, alongside excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential, as well as the ability to work to timelines and manage multiple, competing priorities. Attention to detail and digital literacy are key to succeeding in this position.
