Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will manage, record, and report revenue streams according to Newell’s accounting standards. You will handle financial close activities, data management, and auditing tasks while collaborating across departments to deliver key insights to business leaders. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and ownership, as you will play a critical role in shaping financial decisions. You’ll be part of the Accounting Center of Excellence (ACOE) team, working hybrid with two days a week in the office.


Your Key Tasks as a Senior Revenue Accountant

• Lead month-end close activities and review balance sheets for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee data management, including customer program terms and setting up BI/VBA tools to enhance data collection.
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audit requests.
• Investigate discrepancies, flag issues, and propose recommendations.
• Participate in EMEA-wide projects, driving standardization and supporting business strategy initiatives.
• Assist with team training and occasionally step in for the Team Leader during meetings.

What You’ll Need
Minimum:

• Accountancy degree or equivalent (US GAAP/SOX knowledge essential).
• 4-5 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Proficiency in SAP and Blackline.
• Strong skills in Power BI/VBA for data manipulation.
• Audit experience with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
