Full Job Description:
The Sales Manager is responsible for acquiring new importers and dealers and achieving revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. The Sales Manager will also maximize sales potential, develop strategic sales plans, and present and justify those plans to executive management.
Main Tasks:
· Achieving growth and meeting sales targets by effectively managing assigned regions (countries)
· Designing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer/dealer base and ensure a strong market presence
· Building and maintaining long-lasting customer/dealer relationships through partnership and understanding of their needs
· Planning and analysing short-term, mid-term, and long-term business strategies, and analysing sales performance
· Managing sales for assigned regions (countries)
· Overseeing the sales distributorship agreements
· Managing orders, production, and shipments
· Monitoring wholesale and retail sales performance
· Establishing and managing pricing strategies
· Managing customer credit and collections
· Supporting regional events (e.g., exhibitions, training sessions, etc.)
· Assisting in the management of importers/dealers and recruiting new dealers
· Supporting marketing and promotional activities
· Developing new markets and acquiring new importers/dealers
· Managing improvements to existing products and supporting future product development
· Conducting market research, analysing market trends, and evaluating competition
· Presenting sales, revenue, expenses reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
· Strong business acumen and industry expertise, particularly in agricultural machinery (AG machinery) with proven experience
· Successful experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
· Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively; knowledge of German is an advantage
· Strong project and time management skills
· Proven negotiation and mediation skills
· Excellent skills in data analysis and competitive market research
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
